Our Commitment to You

We believe in the virtue of family and strive to care for our patients as we would our own family members.

We aim to make exceptional service and evidence-based care accessible and equitable to everyone in upcountry.

We are passionate about what we do because we've seen physical therapy change people's lives for the better.

We are here to help you recover, get back on your feet, move forward, and live your best life, pain free.

Dr. Abel Corona, PT, DPT

Abel's passion for physical therapy has grown tremendously during his career and a major influence has been the positive impact therapy has on people’s lives. It was his mom, a speech language pathologist, who introduced him to the occupation of physical therapy. She taught him the value of serving others every day and how it is possible to accomplish this with a rewarding career.

Abel earned his Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Texas Tech University in 2013 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from South College in 2019. He went on to complete the Regis University Residency in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2020.

Abel continues to pursue further educational opportunities to increase his skills as a physical therapist and will obtain an orthopedic board certification in the spring of 2021. He wants to continue to help people get back to the things they love using a team approach that emphasizes setting achievable and meaningful goals, utilizing therapeutic exercise, and open communication.

Abel moved to Maui in 2021 and is excited to golf, enjoy the ocean, and explore upcountry and all that Maui has to offer.

He completed his COMT (Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist) certification with OPTIM Physical Therapy that allows him to treat a wide range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.

Jordan paddled when he went to high school in Hawaii which explains his love for the ocean and he also enjoys playing basketball. He recently developed an interest in making short travel videos. Outside of work, Jordan likes to go to the beach, hike, hang out with his two dogs (aussie and dachshund), watch sports, and spend time with his wife.

James also has a passion for preventative medicine and has performed onsite ergonomics training in various facilities and environments for both individuals and large groups, including a once-in-a-lifetime chance to work behind the scenes in the gorilla and primate exhibit at a zoo.

Outside of the clinic, James feels most at home doing anything by the ocean including swimming/snorkeling, paddle boarding, and kayaking.  He also enjoys playing music, hiking, biking, snowboarding, and spending time with his friends and family.
